Abstract

A preliminary study on the growth of Leiognathus klunzingeri (Steindachner, 1898) inhabiting off Karata �?�?��?Ÿ , Eastern Mediterranean

Growth parameters of (Leiognathus klunzingeri (Steindachner, 1898)) were estimated on 724 fish samples collected from off Karata?, Eastern Mediterranean. The von Bertalanffy parameters were calculated as follows; L∞ = 11.51 cm, K = 0.262 y –1, to = - 0.841 y, W∞ = 21.29 g. Weight-length relationship parameters found as; W = 0.0122 * TL 3.0552.
