A biological importance of heat shock proteins (Hsp) in aquatic organisms and thermotolerance

Stres proteins are used as biomarker in determining the different biological effects of environmental agents on the organisms at molecular levels. Levels of heat shock proteins could be especially significant in the environmental adaptation for many aquatic organisms. Hsps also perform other physiological duties and act as molecular chaperones. In this review, it is aimed to gather the research, especially organised in recent years.
