Abstract

Length-Weight Relationships in Blue Crab, Callinectes sapidus (Rathbun, 1896) in Köycegiz Dalyan Lagoon Area-Turkey

This study was conducted in Köyceğiz Dalyan Lagoon Ares and investigated the cycle, reproductive biology, morphometric characteristics of Callinectes sapidus collected from June 2005 to December 2006. Carapace Weight of mature females and males were 15.4 ±1.35 and 15.9 ±1.82 cm in width, respectively. Linear correlation between carapace length and weight was detected.
