On behalf of the Board of the Journal of Universal Surgery (www.jusurgery.com) and my co-editors, I’m glad to present the Volume 8, Issue 3 of the journal. The journal has archived resource of several issues from 2012 which tract the varied steps during the evolution of surgical studies. The journal’s author base consists of eminent academicians, scientists and medical professional from diverse geographical regions of the world. Similarly, the reader base also has heterogeneous composition as revealed by Google analytics. On an overall basis, the journal has been successful in collation of quality research outcomes in surgery and their wider propagation.

The visitor’s traffic is that the benchmark for the success of any scientific journal and also the Journal of Universal Surgery is consistently attracting viewers across the world.

According to the Google Analytics, over 212607 readers are visiting to our journal websites for submitting manuscripts, to browse the newest research published on surgery and to refer the published content for conceptualizing their research study, deriving research hypotheses, case reports and validating their contributions. Readers from the foremost countries including US, Japan, UK, India, Egypt and Nigeria visit our journal domain to be told about the continued research activities during this field. These are promising signs. We could reach this stage through the constant support of Board Members and intellectual generosity of the readers and contributors (authors and reviewers).

As our readers know, IPJUS is that the foremost preferred and highly accessed Journal within the world of Surgery. The Journal is indexed in Index Copernicus, Google Scholar, Genamics Journal Seek, Directory of Research Journal Indexing (DRJI), WorldCat and Scholar among many other reputed scientific databases. At many instances members of the editorial board also like better to submit their articles. Such practice is common in other reputed specialty Journals. In fact, IPJUS encourages editorial board members to actively contribute. However, no special privileges are given to anyone. All scientific manuscripts including editorials are subjected to look review. IPJUS follows a double blind review process where identity of authors and reviewers isn't revealed to each other. The review generally involves two to six subject experts. The editorial team is involved within the full article cycle ranging from submission to final recommendation. The complete review process is carefully structured to minimize the possibility of bias.

IPJUS functions on principles of scientific excellence, publication ethics and transparency. It makes mediatory that each article is submitted through the online manuscript submission and review system managed by Insight Medical Publishing (iMedPub LTD) as the publisher.
