Abstract

Glomerular diseases can be established as the third cause of CKD, after Arterial Hypertension (HTN) and Diabetes Mellitus (DM). They are defined as the immunological condition that generates inflammation at the glomerular level. Its classification varies depending on the damage that is generated in the components of the glomerulus. A review of the different glomerulonephritis is presented with an approach to its diagnosis and treatment based on the KDIGO 2021 guidelines.
