Aquaculture, the farming of fish, shellfish and aquatic plants, has emerged as a key solution to meet this demand. However, the growth of aquaculture must be managed sustainably to prevent environmental degradation and ensure long-term viability. Sustainable aquaculture practices are crucial for balancing productivity with ecological and social responsibility. Principles of sustainable aquaculture
