Dr. Chun-Hung Liu works as professor for the Department of Aquaculture, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. His research interests focus on basic and applied research in the area of molecular nutrition and physiology. In addition, he developed some probiotics and symbiotic to improve the growth performance and health status of aquaculture animals, and use those probiotics for soybean fermentation in order to develop a potential protein to replace fishmeal in aquafeed so as to reduce the cost of aquaculture. His long-term goals are to probe molecular mechanisms of probiotic or nutrients on the improvement of growth performance and health status of aquaculture animals. Finally, hope those achievement could help the sustainable development of aquaculture industry.
