Is a rather easy technique we use under local anesthesia for correction of double chin, alone or in combination with neck lift correction of oval of face, correction of laxity of lower face and neck alone or on combination with threats? Fat harvested from neck (source) is also an option for lipo sculpture of face (filler). Liposuction of double chin is executed after drawing the hole fatty area and infiltrate with Tomisend solution for local anesthesia (10-300 cc of solution depending on the area to be liposuction). Infiltration is done with a special cannula 0.2 cm from 3 holes of 0.5 cm: one on the horizontal line of mid-chin undersurface and two others behind the ear lobes. After 10 -15 min (for vaseo constriction), cannulas of 2 mm, 3 mm and 4 mm are used for liposuction of the pre-marked area of chin and neck, using the smallest to the most superficial layer of fat (just under skin) until all fat is harvested. In this way, skin in indirect touch with the underline neck and chin muscles and that’s the way to avoid skin laxity. In case of pre-existing laxity, we can apply threats after liposuction or use a mini neck lift in older patient vicryl rapid. A pressure chin garment in applied 24 hours for a week and just during night another week so that the skin is perfectly attached to the underline macules. It is a safe and easy technique, with giving short recovery time, excellent and long lasting results.
