Effectiveness of Coupled Plasma Filtration Adsorption Technique in Cytokine Storm Developing in Critical Covid-19 Patients. (Case Series)

Due to its immunopathology, the SARS-Cov-2 virus, which causes COVID-19 disease, leads to an uncontrollable release of cytokines, in which IL-6 plays a role, leading to damage in various organs, especially the lung. In COVID-19 patients, treatment of this cytokine storm is as important and life-saving as antiviral therapy.
