Health Neonatal Understanding and Addressing the Critical Needs of Newborns

Neonatal health refers to the well-being of newborn infants, particularly during the first 28 days of life. This period is critically important, as it accounts for a significant portion of infant mortality worldwide. Neonatal health is influenced by a complex array of factors including maternal health, prenatal care, access to healthcare facilities, socio-economic conditions, and the environment. In this article, we explore key neonatal health issues, the leading causes of neonatal mortality, the role of medical interventions, and strategies for improving neonatal care in both developed and developing countries. We also examine the impact of nutrition, infections, and birth complications on neonatal survival and health outcomes.
