Interrogation of Electronic Health Record Data by biomedical researcher

For research purposes such as cohort identification, Phenotyping, Pharmacovigilance, and public health surveillance, electronic health records are an essential data source. Enabling effective and independent EHR data interrogation by end users, such as biomedical researchers, is essential to achieving the promise of EHR data for advancing clinical research.
