Knowledge, attitudes and practices of nurses in training and professional nurses on sleep apnees syndrome in Kara in 2020

Introduction: Sleep apnea syndrome (SAS) is a condition that is
characterized by respiratory abnormalities (hypopneas, apnea)
occurring during sleep. In patients with SAS, strokes are more severe.
SAS is also responsible for memory impairment and decreased
intellectual performance.
Objective: We carried out this study to assess nurses' practical
knowledge and attitudes about SAS.
Method: This was a descriptive cross-sectional study from 05 to 30
July 2020 involving 90 nurses working in the different departments
of the CHU Kara and the CHR Kara who agreed to fill in the selfquestionnaire
sheet.
Results: A total of 90 out of 105 expected nurses participated in the
