Angiogenesis, the process of new blood vessel formation, plays a crucial role in various physiological and pathological conditions, including wound healing, embryonic development and tumor progression. Dysregulated angiogenesis is implicated in several diseases, including cancer, diabetic retinopathy and inflammatory disorders.
