Atrial fibrillation in ischemic stroke and TIA

Atrial fibrillation leads to a significant increase in the risk of ischemic
stroke or transient ischemic attack. It is one of the most common
cardiac arrhythmias. From the age of 50, the risk of atrial fibrillation
increases continuously, at the age of 80 the risk is estimated at 25%.
Without therapy with blood-thinning drugs, the risk of cerebral
