Mutations are changes in the genetic code that can lead to harmful effects, such as genetic diseases and disorders. However, some dangerous mutations can also have unexpected benefits. Researchers are also exploring how dangerous mutations can be used to develop new treatments for genetic disorders, such as using a mutation associated with Huntington's disease to develop new cancer treatments. While dangerous mutations can have negative effects, it is important to continue studying their potential benefits in order to fully understand their impact on human health.
