An Assessment of Public Health in India: An Overview.

Health care and demographic variables, which also assess the effectiveness and
performance of the government in the health sector, serve to illustrate the state
of health in any given nation. Additionally, it is important for national growth.
Governments have a duty to protect the public's health, which they can only do by
implementing sufficient social and health policies. The government plays a multifaceted
and multidimensional role in public health concerns, serving as an insurer, a supplier
