Cell Therapy Advancements for Immunological Conditions

Cell therapy has emerged as a ground-breaking approach in the field of immunology,
presenting new opportunities for the treatment of various immunological conditions.
This innovative therapeutic strategy involves utilizing living cells to enhance or
suppress the immune response, depending on the specific disease being targeted. In
this abstract, we explore the applications of cell therapy in immunological disorders,
including autoimmune diseases, cancer immunotherapy, immunodeficiencies,
allergic disorders, and transplantation. Specifically, we discuss the use of regulatory
T-cells (Tregs) to suppress autoimmunity, chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T)
therapy for cancer treatment, and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT)
