Meristic counts and morphometric measurements of Schilbe mystus (Linnaeus, 1758)

Five meristic counts and 21 morphometric measurements were studied and compared between males and females Schilbe mystus. Statistical analysis showed no significant differences in the number of meristic counts. Students t-test showed that the mean of the 21 morphometric measured traits was significantly (p<0.001) higher in females than males.
